Rescue Operation

Modified on Fri, 23 Dec, 2022 at 1:59 PM

In the line of work, unfortunately, there could be unforeseen and emergency circumstances that do not allow you as a driver to continue the current job or to service upcoming jobs. Examples of these scenarios include being involved in an accident, vehicle breakdown, flights delays or falling ill.

If you meet with an unexpected situation, you can trigger a Rescue Operation for your job(s) and this will alert your Fleet Manager and/or the Trransfer Control Centre to find a replacement driver for affected jobs.

NOTE: Rescue Operation should only be used for unexpected and emergency situations, and should not be used for schedule conflicts or job cancellations on the Operator's end.

THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO TRIGGER A RESCUE OPERATION

Home Tab

Click on the Shield icon at bottom left of screen to trigger a Rescue Operation for your next upcoming job.

Select an appropriate reason for the rescue, then click 'Confirm'.

View Upcoming Trip

If you are unsure when the next upcoming job is, instead of clicking on the Shield icon, you can click on 'View Upcoming Trip' from the Home Tab to see the details of the job.

Next, click on Rescue Operation at the bottom of the screen. Select an appropriate reason for the rescue, then click 'Confirm'.

To-do List

If you are still able to perform the current job but not a specific upcoming job, such as in the scenario of an urgent but not critical vehicle servicing that can only be scheduled for a particular time, you can look for the specific job in the To-do List (2nd tab).

Click on the job to see details. Next, click on Rescue Operation at the bottom of the screen. Select an appropriate reason for the rescue, then click 'Confirm'.
